Thanksgiving

What a great day Thanksgiving was! We had lunch in Pryor at Nana and Papa's house and dinner in Tulsa at Bobo and DeeDee's. What a blessing to spend time with ALL of our wonderful family!

Mornings

This is what I wake up to every morning. (Nope, not my husband.) David leaves around 5:30am and quietly tucks Leah in beside me. It's so sweet to roll over and see her smiling little face. Not so sweet to smell a diaper full of pee, but still totally worth it! :)

McKenzie's Birthday Party

Ella's friend McKenzie celebrated her 4th birthday at "My Little Doll house." Ella and McKenzie are quite the buddies since they go to preschool and gymnastics together.

All the girls were prettied up with painted nails, eye-shadow, lipstick, hair-dos, and princess dresses. They strutted their stuff on the cat-walk, danced, talked to Cinderella, and giggled a LOT! Yet, I must say that a few times during the "evening of beauty" I thought the place should have been called, My little Diva house. :)

As the weather gets colder we are preparing for much more indoor play.

I'm really not even pouting about the chilly weather. I actually love it! There's lots to do inside while it's beautifully cold outside! AND it's the one season I don't feel like I have to make excuses for staying home all day with the kids. (I often feel a little chastised for my homebody behavior in such a fast paced world.)

My sister-in-law Kara and her husband Danny are expecting their 1st baby. YEA!!!
Baby Hartman is due May 24th. (Only about 6 more months of pregnancy to go Kara!)

Pow!

Leah had her 6 mo. appointment today and once again our girl is in the 97% for height and weight. I'm a little hesitant to admit her weight.... 20 lbs and 4 oz! Whoa, huh?

Well after today she is no longer allowed to have juice, and her formula intake must stay under 24oz/day. A 6 1/2 month old on a diet? I'm afraid so.

*I should have written "V-O-T-E" across her knuckles :)

Carver's 3rd Birthday

Carver Raymond turned 3 on Sunday and celebrated with a "Fireman" party. A fire engine even came to the house! The kids got to try on the fireman gear and take a tour of the truck. (My camera ran out of battery right before the firetruck arrived, oh well.) The kids dug for prizes in a pool of corn too! :) Everyone had a great time!
